Alpine huts
Cattlemen's huts have long been a feature of the high plains and even after cattle have been banned from the high country, these same huts now provide a valuable service as emergency shelter and base for outward bound groups and cross country skiers. The addition of modern toilets make them an ideal camp site for overnight hikers.
